I MD. Junaeid Shah Joy is a dedicated Legal Associate and Paralegal - In House (Litigation) in Bengal Law House in Bonani, Dhaka, Bangladesh | Apprentice in the District & Sessions' Judge's Court based in Dhaka, Bangladesh | With a background in legal practice, including hands-on experience at the Dhaka Bar Association, my journey in the legal field is marked by a commitment to justice and professional growth. Legal Associate and Paralegal - In-House (Litigation)
Bengal Law House, Bonani, Dhaka
September 2024 – Present

  • Working as a Legal Associate and Paralegal, assisting the Advocates in handling a wide range of legal matters. 

  • My responsibilities include drafting and preparing cases under the Negotiable Instruments Act, civil suits, writ petitions, civil revisions, appeals, agreements, deeds, and other legal instruments. 

  • I am also engaged in legal research, preparation of legal opinions, lawyers’ certificates, and legal budgeting. 

  • Through this role, I have provided legal support to several reputed corporate clients, including Bengal Group, BRAC Centre, Soft Drinks Ltd. Bangladesh, Moon Corporation, ECD Group, Friendship, among others.

Apprentice Lawyer

  • Working under a Senior Advocate and Government Pleader representing major public institutions (e.g., Ministry of Land, RAJUK, DPDC, Bangladesh National Museum, and the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Dhaka).

  • Assisted in public interest litigations, including civil, company law, and criminal matters.

  • Drafted writ petitions, handled sub-registry disputes, N.I. Act cases and tax files.

  • Engaged in court documentation, client meetings, and case preparations.

Legal Intern – Tax Affairs

September 2022 – January 2023

  • Supported senior tax consultants in preparing and submitting tax files to Circle & Zone offices.

  • Participated in trial assistance and documentation processes.
